The place in Pa you referred to is Paul's Chrome in Evans City. They just permanently closed shop.

  4. When you get the price you might end up with an aluminum manifold that has been polished. Good luck.

  5. I had my Mysterion intake manifolds professionally polished. Chrome gets really problematic on items with deep areas. Copper and nickel will 'throw' into deep areas but chrome wont. That being said, these guys did wonders for me on my project. They chrome plated all 6 Stromberg WW carbs beautifully and even chromed the deep aluminum headlight bucket which had to be a real challenge. Did it all mail-order from California in good time and great price.

This is a really hard chrome task they did marvelously.

  6. Just noticed that HAMB member Unkl Ian is from Antarctica. How is rodding going down there? When is your Street Rod Nationals scheduled this year?

  7. Your manifold will need to be polished first, prior to chroming. Give waynesautoparts.com a call.
He's less than 100 miles from Martinsburg.

Wayne chromed my axle & rear bumper; great quality, reasonable price (for chrome) and turnaround time.
