Technical Chrysler 25 inch flathead parts??

Why are parts for these engines so hard to find. Trying to give my 251 a little more oomph.

www.p15-d24.com has a list of vendors for the L head engines.
The basic reason for apparent lack of good stuff is that there has never been a ground swell of support for the big/old Chryslers and DeSotos.
