Chrysler 6 distributor swap?????

I have a 40 Chrysler six going in my hot rod and am looking for a later distributor to swap in. I'm going 12volt system. Anyone know if later 12v points will swap in the stock distrib.or if anyone makes an adapter to put late model dist. in it place. Thanks

The old one will work just fine. If using the original 6v coil, get a ballast resistor at NAPA.

 

Points are too stupid to know if they're being used in a 6 or 12 volt system. They'll work either way.
