I bought a tilt/tele column off of ebay from a 66 Chrysler New Yorker that I want to use on a project. It came without a steering wheel, and I have no idea how the telescoping function locks/adjusts. Right now the steering wheel end of the shaft freely slides in and out. Anyone have any info or pictures on this?

The center hub of the wheel twists to lock and unlock it. I used to have one here, but sold it. I might have some pictures and will look for them.

If you look own in the center of the column where the wheel bolts to.It will be threaded inside the shaft.Just get a small set scew and put it there and it will lock the column till you get the proper wheel.
