I have a Cincinnati #2 vertical milling machine for sale. Interesting history, it was the 8th machine made in 1943, so you know it saw some WWII war effort manufacturing. It is huge at approx. 8000#. It uses 50 taper tool holders, and I have some included along with several face mills. It is 220V/3 phase. It has a problematic issue with not changing RPM or spindle turning, but worked great for several months when I bought it. It made no noises then or now. I have spoken to several techs and they seem to think its a pretty simple fix. I already have 2 other mills, so I really need the space more than anything. It will have to be loaded by a rollback. Its already on skids, and I can stage it for loading but can't physically load it. I'm in the N. Georgia area near Chattanooga, and would be more practical for someone close in this vicinity for get this as hauling a great distance would be pretty expensive I would imagine. I have more pics if you need them, just let me know. Thanks, Scott
This machine is a beast, it can face off a 1/4" deep cut in 5" inch wide mild steel with a 5" wide face mill with no trouble. It can slow down to 20 RPM and go up to 1500 RPM. You need this in your shop!
