    You are really overthinking this.
If it's in the law pay the fine or move.
If it isn't in the law, then in most cases these things don't go anywhere if, as a responsible citizen, you just don't roll over and pay a fine without a judge ordering it.

    1) Don't talk to him. Some of these trukeys simply go around spouting off but if you ignore them they go away.
    2) If/When you actually get a ticket, go to the code and see if it's legit'.
    3) If it isn't legit', a trip to the court's secretary will usually kill it.
    4) If it requires going to court, get an attorney. At that point the judge will dismiss if the charge isn't legit'.
    5) Did I say in no case, ever pay a fine without a judge ordering it?

I have to agree, If its worth saving, put in a garage or at least put a fence around it,Things change everyone used to have a cow, chickens, and a burning barrel in their back yard to. Dave

I've dealt with the local codes guy and can tell you for certain that a PRIVACY FENCE means just that. If they cannot see it from the street, or from a property that they have been invited on to, it does not exist as far as their authority is concerned.

could you plant some flowers and spread some cypress bark around it and call it art?

first thing i would do is find houses of elected officials and see if they have any wind chimes or such in their yards.. like a windmill or something and complain out the *** about it..

  6. I was a "victim" to the changing times here in Glendale AZ this week...the new definition of a "commercial" vehicle caused me to have to s**** my tow truck or face a cl*** 1 misdermener and a $300 fine and vehicle impound. I won't get into it here, but if you look up my posts you'll see a short explenation of what happened in another post.

The times they are a changing....and not heading for the good side of things everywhere. Think im going to buy some desert land and stock pile everything I can save till the city grows up around me.

First make them produce all the OFFICIAL codes and ordnances to you in written form and not some pad of paper he wrote on either . Once you have that then all of you that are being fined or har***ed by this one **** head and get a lawyer from another county not your own where they do what the police want them to tell you . All the code are official business of the town/county you life in so they have to show them to you .
Now drive up and down every street where you know they are giving out tickets and take pictures of the ones they are bothering .
You have to get their codes and laws first before you can do anything . As for the ticket , have it moved up because you are getting a lawyer . They can't tell you that you can't move the court date up for a legal reason . They have to give you enough time to get legal representation . That a federal law not theirs .
Just make sure you get a smart *** lawyer from another town in the state so he won't be "Talked Too" by the local cops , if you understand what I am saying .

You have to fight it as long as you are following the "WRITTEN" laws and codes . We have them too like everyone else but you need to find out the do's and dont's first .

Good luck and keep us posted .

I actually have played the "race card" when the inspector in Jax. fl (I took video of routes to my house from his office) then started with the media on stuff the city had f'd away. I retired and moved away from Naziville.
