What, if any are the cons to using claimer pistons in a street engine? thinking about building a 6" rod 350 and Claimer pistons are pretty attractive price wise thanks

My 388" SBC 4.060 bore , 3.75 stroke 6" rod , internally balanced engine has 50k street miles on it with hypereutectic claimer pistons . They work just fine .

Yep. There are many off the shelf pistons that are perfect for street engines. So are file to fit rings. Make sure the skirt clearance is correct.
