Hate to say it but I just listed the Clark Coupe for sale in the HAMB classifieds. Its been done for about a year but I am finding that I have too many other interests, including off topic automotive, keeping me busy and Clark is not getting driven much. It does not help that I have one of those old house driveways that is one car wide and I usually have to move three other cars first.

Clark Coupe has sold to another HAMBer and will be heading to New York.

Awesome car and build, I have a question: when the windshield is open the air hits that rail and shoots down to the feet with the factory dash setup. Now that you installed that new dash what happens to the air when you open the windshield? Did you block it off or does it just circulate through your gauges and wiring? Just asking because I am about to put in a different dash as well. Thanks

I did not block it off so some air will circulate behind the dash and gauges.

It was very bittersweet watching if get loaded up for its trip to the new owner in New York.

That is what I would have always said/thought but it is funny how things can change and make you stop and think about what is bringing the most happiness to you and those close to you that you love and how you should focus your time and energy going forward.

  11. I just went through your whole thread...excellent build, fabrication skills, thought process and documentation. Thanks for taking the time to bring us along. The new owner will hopefully enjoy the car. Sometimes, it's not the destination the car will take you to, but rather the journey of the build itself...I can understand that.

    I suddenly got Dejavu!
    with filling holes!

  14. I believe you are reading it wrong @SilverJimmy, if I'm not mistaken this is the second time this coup has been up for sale.

  15. I knew that! Saw it on BaT and then read this thread! I wouldn’t have been able to sell it once, let alone twice! But I do suffer from separation anxiety…..

Hello etboy97! I'm new to the game (almost). Haven't posted in a long time. I'd like to talk with you off-line about Clark, but don't know how to get there through the HAMB or BaT. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you.

I sold the Clark Coupe to a guy in New York back in January who seems to like buying and selling cars. He made some minor changes and is the one who listed it on BAT.

This is for when you dont have a title?
I am glad that my dad put the 33 on non-op years ago. As far as I know is, I have to do is show proof of insurance and just pay the registration?? at least that’s what my friend of the DMV told me last time. Who knows with these California bozos!

It was listed on that other auction site last week. Don't think it sold.

Just a footnote to the Clark Coupe story. The guy I sold it to sold it to a guy in France.
