Hey guys, I just changed the Antiquities Cl***ifieds forum to:

Off Topic Cars, Parts, & Antiquities

Idea being, we have a place to move cars that are off topic into an area where they can still be posted... and maybe even saved by the next owner. You can find it here:

Off Topic Cars, Parts, & Antiquities

Ok cool, just to be clear is there a year of manufacture limit on the off topic cars for sale?

The rules post says pre-65… if enough people want it, I’ll push it later, but I’m not super interested in hosting late models.

I'd be ok with a year cutoff date of 1975. That's still a 50 year old vehicle and fits the spirit of the off topic discussion section.

I’m thinking off topic cl***ifieds will be well received and 1975 is a good limit.

I'd vote for 1975 as that is the last year not to require smog inspections in CA, so would certainly be a lot more HAMB friendly than anything newer...

72 always seemed like the next logical cut-off to me.

If we’re voting I’m going with 75 also. No emissions test in Indiana.

1975 is good, that includes muscle cars and ends around the same time chrome bumpers disappeared. All due respect to Ryan, don't think he is actually taking a vote on this!

Great idea! My buddy Kenny tried to put up a shoebox Ford with a well done chop, but it had an S-10 sub. SO it got shot down. Now he can put it there!

Whatever Ryan decides to do with this is fine with me, he is the boss.

1975 sounds good, but I just read where the collectible and special interest world is moving into the eighties and nineties, hard as it is to believe.

Keith Jackson of Barrett Jackson said that on an interview I caught last week.

    Us old guys are disappearing.
