I have some Eastwood Pre Painting Prep.
I bought it about 2 years ago and never used it.
I honestly don't even remember why I bought it.
Do you think it'd be sufficient?

Where does one go to acquire Phosphoric Acid?

A question about your method. I am planning on having my A frame blasted as well. If I use rust converter right away when it comes back to prevent rust, can I weld and do normal mods to the frame without issues?

Napa has a product called aluminum brightener that has phosphoric acid in it, but I buy a spray gel rust converter that is sold at a farm supply store. I did a front stub with a $6 bottle.

Lots of good info here. I'm getting ready for some frame work. Still in the middle though as to sandblasting or other methods. My problem is transporting it to the blaster. I would have to hire a flat bed. I guess at the end it would be money well spend...

^^^^^^Hopped up - we used my buddies boat trailer to transport my wheeless frame to the blaster. Plenty of length and an easy tow....try that
