Anyone have a suggestion for a product to clean the headliner of my 55 Ford Country Sedan wagon?

Can you tell us what the headliner is made of ? If original I think a good cleaner you use in the house that doesn't have Bleach in it will work OK . Something like 409 , Mr. Clean , Simple Green and things along that line . I would test in a place like under the visor just in case something goes wrong and really fades the color . At least no one would see it unless the visor is down . Try with a clean rag or old white T shirt . Use white because if the rag has color , it could fade and get the color onto the headliner . You can also use a cleaning brush and a tooth brush in those tight areas .
Let us know how you make out .

I believe it is the original material. Thanks for the advice. Hope to dive in tomorrow. Thanks

I had a 65 falcon a few years back. It had the original vinyl head liner in white, and was yellowed from former owner smoking. I used wesley's bleach white on it and it looked like new. Be careful that **** will kill ya if you breath it in. I sprayed it on a white terry cloth rag first then wiped it down with warm water to rinse it.

    Good Luck
