I bought a sandblaster and built a tent to blast a frame in my backyard. What a mess! It worked but it was the only time I tried it. Sold the blaster, through he pop up away, and I pay people now to blast them for me. I have one dipped, I'd do that again.
I used the same on the front/rear ends, 100% agree and definitely don't wear sweatpants while doing it, but certainly wear eye protection.
Just think how uncluttered the spot is that I moved the clutter from to be able to clutter up this spot, mind boggling. If you notice the room around my truck I think it equals the amount of room around the clutter accuser's vehicles, boggled brain .... again.
I layed a piece of plywood across my frame and tipped the cab over backwards to do the frame and the underbelly of my cab. This garage is only 22' deep and I had to share it with my wifes' car. Gary
You could try a Needle Scaler. Can get in fairly tight places. Removes paint, rust, old undercoating, etc. wear ear protection and mask. Does work but really noisy. https://www.harborfreight.com/compa...GuB-pd5s0tod3w_mWl2CSVW4WdJdBGJhoCPC4QAvD_BwE
