Cleaning aluminum intake

    Spray it with carb cleaner and run it thru the dishwasher on pots and pan scrub,when wifey is at work.
    By the time she talks to you again you could probably block sand & primer your car maybe 6 or 7 times.

    I like gl*** bead comes up real nice and retains the original sheen. Sand blast works great but takes away the original sheen. I have done the gl*** bead on my original GM intake and love it
     
  3. Got a friend at a restaurant? I brought my intake in on a slow saturday morning, sprayed it with mr muscle (pan cleaner/carbon remover) and let it soak a bit. Then a few trips through the high temp dishwasher. Not quite "new" but pretty darn spiffy. Bead blasting sounds good but this was easy for me (and free)

    Used the turtle wax wheel cleaner on the supercharger today!!!! Worked great!! Thank you for the tip!!
