Like it says. Im looking to see if anyone knows a source for a clear distributor cap for a mallory unilite on a small block chevy. I have searched a few times, but havent seen one that for sure says it fits unilite. Of course lots of them for big ugly HEI setups.

    Anyone?

  2. It takes the same cap as the points distributer. Every factory unilite also comes as a dual point distributer. They use the same body.

    Found this one:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/7000-and-8...871890?hash=item468ccbb812:g:O6IAAOSwIr5cJMEH

But theyre pretty uselses saying 70000 and 8000 series.
Anyone know how to tell what series my unilite is?

Building this car as a tribute to the one my dad had before I was born. Hes told me 100s of times about his clear distributor cap he had on his car. Would be just one little cool touch for the car If I can find one

Anyone? I'd even look at having one 3D printed if possible

How about you show us a picture of your distributor? I can Google Unilite and see a pic, but if you aren't even sure it's the same thing, how are we going to be?

If ****** says they are the same as a regular SBC stock distributor, I can find a bunch of clear caps via Google. I can also see a bunch of clear caps with the HEI male terminals on top. What does yours look like?

Try a 55-56 265 Chevrolet V-8 cap and rotor; they use those same clips, and "look" the same. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
