    Whats 2 pac clear?
For best results...add a "tad" bit of the clear hardener in the 1-shot.....reduces the risk of bleed through...

I clear over 1- shot all the time with Urethane without adding anything to it. I just let the solvents dry out thouroughly before clearing.
I used to add a drop or two of hardener to the 1-shot but it really didn't make any difference. Certain colors have a tendency to bleed if your not very carefull and it doesn't matter whether there is hardener added or not.

Good clear adhesion is acheived if you apply the clear while the base is allowed to just tack off.
May be different if your base in non compatible. I maybe missreading somthing. Of not understanding a one shot.

Usually what I clear has been thoroughly dried out and color sanded, then pinstriped which is allowed to dry thoroughly, then cleared.

I did an experiment on one of my tractors years ago which included clearing over 1-shot, then using it as intended.... Serious abuse and weather extremes, washing it off once a year with engine cleaner, etc, etc..... Took 7.5 years before any delaminate on occurred....and that was over the 1-shot. I couldn't ask for more durability than that.
