I can envision them on a displayed engine at the SEMA Show or on a stand in a museum. But I don't see the point on a street-driven engine. I'll give you Vegas odds that they leak oil.
They could be handy for a new engine break-in if you had dots painted on the pushrods to verify rotation. You would only need to see them all turn at first start, oil would be clean.
