I dont care what people do to their cars or trucks. If it looks cool and they are happy, mission accomplished..

I want to know how anyone gets anything done when they are more interested in making rant and rave posts over nothing. I built two cars since I joined and am starting the 3rd in a couple months, until then I am going to think of things to complain about. I am all about relaxing a bit here but even I can see this place going to **** quickly with some of the posts over the last few months. Tech posts, which is why I joined, are buried by the ***** sessions lately.

Great idea. Can you teach me how to be a whiney ***** & start garbage threads on the worlds biggest hot rod site? Then I can emulate you & enjoy a life of gripey-ness. :D

  18. Man, there's a lot of self-righteous drama queens on the HAMB lately.

So he cleared over old paint and rust........and this makes you mad? If he painted it primer black with red steelies and wide whites, would that make you feel better?

Obviously these new guys don't have a clue of what goes on in the long run.
    Case:
Oh, I want a rat rod, and I can't even afford gas to put in it. I can't afford real paint, so I will brush paint it with (insert Rustoleum, tractor paint, house paint)
Next month: Hey guys, I bought this cool rat rod, and I want to paint it, don't know what the PO put on it, it's flat black, what paint can I paint over it?
Answer: you have to strip it all down to bare.
Oh, I can't afford that? why should I do all that work????????

You can make the same point with:
over-chopped cars with plastic windshields,& no side gl***
rookie built suspension work with a 110 MIG
    Bodywork over rust/converter/etch primer/old paint
Ruined supension and ch***is due to on the frame lowering
    rookie wiring using junkyard wire

What it comes down to is lazy idiots, posers, and scenesters ruining sometimes decent old cars. Or making it very difficult for later owner to try and fix it, after they finally give up on it.
Or get in an accident due to poor repairs.

I yearn for the days when old cars weren't as popular as they are now, due to all those ****ty TV shows!

There's better and more realistic things to be upset about in this game. Trying to keep a business going with new members of the workforce ready to whine and cry the 1st time you correct their **** up. Buying a "finished" car that was done by a known shop only to find out that they too don't tighten ****, cover up sub standard body repairs, and use only the cheapest quality parts and material. Getting yelled at by someone who supposed to (insert purchase or service) and doesn't, then you're the bad guy for holding them accountable.

DON'T BUY THE ****IN THING. DON'T CLEAR YOUR RUSTY CAR.

Damn that was soo hard to say. I want my mommy...
