Hot Rods Clevite bearing numbers?

    Question what does the 12 and 70- mean on this bearing? I know the cb745p in the part number it’s suppose to be out of a 327 Sbc. Thanks.

    Manufactured in December, 1970. If the date was followed by .010 for example that designates the undersize.

  3. Wild guess...bearing mixture.12 percent tin..70 percent something else type of thing.
