My dad and I went and looked at some very affordable shop space in Rowlett today. Looks pretty good. 1500 sq.ft. and 10 mi. from the house. Right now our shop/storage is in Clifton, Tx while we all live up in Dallas/Richardson. While we were looking the place next door had a rusty handpainted sign with a custom merc on it. Lookin like a good neighborhood [IMG] I'm pretty excited.. it will double our space. If everything works out and we get everything moved around I'll see if we can't have a little BBQ party sometime this summer for all the HAMBers in the area.

well we signed up for the space, now I just have to move in. I really need to learn to weld now too. it's practically next door to Central Texas Steel [IMG]. After we get moved in we'll put something together. It will probably be sometime in the summer. There's already enough going on in the next couple of months anyway.

The guy that owns that place is a rodder. His name is Mike Groves. I think he's in the Model "A" club also, maybe Elrod can confirm that. Anyway he's a pretty cool guy, not a stuffy gold chainer.

So when gonna start movin' in ?

I've got 2 cars in there now.. kinda temporary. I have to get tires for my truck then some serious moving will start. we are sharing it with my dad, so it is going to be the strangest collection of cars you have seen probably.

Johnny, It looks like we will be keeping the one in clifton too for a while. I'll put your 54 in there since instead of taking it further north. What? you don't like fire ants and rattlesnakes? You forgot to mention field mice, black widows, small birds, whitetailed deer, ticks and chiggers.
