Hi all .I've an old homemade quickchange diff [model a ]and would rather go with the torque tube , any clues on the tail shaft to diff join , I dont think a extra long tailshaft [running right thru the diff] would work due to possable missalignment so how should I join the 'a' tailshaft to the bottom shaft in the diff , just a splined sleeve is all i can think of, Thanks Brett

If the "old Homemade quickie" was done right, the torque tube will bolt up to the (new) front of the banjo housing and the drive shaft coupler should couple to the lower shaft as if it were the old pinion shaft. No real mystery.

A doesn't HAVE a coupler...A quickie would have some sort of redo on actual pinion, and likely that coupling for lower shaft will be a 6 or 10 spline V8 one taking a normal Ford coupler. A driveshaft will have to be cut off and splined.
