I'm interested to see how I can do to link my clutch to my clutch pedal on my modified project. Hydro ? mechanical ? don't hesitate to post pics, advices, exemples, thanks.
what bellhousing/engine/trans/body are you mating together? The nissan 200/240/300 pedals are simple and easily modified to fit other things. (mini-trucks are similar) I was going to use 300zx pedals in my chevy, but i went under the floor instead. hydraulic is my favorite, cable clutches suck and a good ole z-bar is great, as long as it was stock.
It's a 292 inline 6 chevy, out from a 66 chevy truck, with his clutch and his "heavy duty" tranny, a GM SM-420 4 speed. The all thing is on a scratch made frame, with a french 30's body. More details here: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99260
Looks like the exhaust could be tight through there, but if you can run it to the other side then a ansen type setup with a hydraulic pull slave would be good for that heavy clutch. looks like you're plenty capable of making some ansen pedals. I saved this file from a previous post, not taking credit for it, but its pretty good.
