I'm running a stock chevy clutch on a 322 nailhead. I'm using a Howe hydraulic throw out bearing. Pedals are mounted under the floor. A lot of the time I hear a distinct metalic click when I push in the clutch pedal. I can feel it in the pedal. It doesn't happen every time. It has been doing this ever since I finished the car a year ago. It happens about 3/4 of the way to the floor and only when the motor is running. I've taken the pedal off twice. I was convinced it was hitting something. It's not. I'm thinking now it is something in the master cylinder or the pressure plate. Any ideas?
