    Hello all ,

    New to the H.A.M.B.

Building a '31 pickup , having difficulty with clutch pedal on a stock 1931 Model A transmission / clutch pedal****embly.

I****embled based on the instruction and drawings in Les Andrew's book.

Clutch pedal goes right to floor , no resistance but does come back on its own.

I have adjusted the****embly as much as I am able at the adjustment but still going to floor very easily.

What else should I be looking at , would this be a pressure plate issue or throw out bearing possibly ?

I know there should be some resistance when applying clutch pedal and there is next to none , however pedal does return on its own quickly.

    Thanks in advance.

As usual, pictures please... the crystal ball is currently out of order.
Is this setup completely stock, or something else?

Completely stock , Model A transmission and Clutch Pedal****embly as mentioned above.

  4. Does the clutch actually release when the pedal goes to the floor?
I suspect a disconnect somewhere....... as in "the knee bone is not connected to the leg bone".

Yes, 100% releases and comes back quickly to normal position.

Throw out bearing installed correctly...properly engaged in the yoke...not backwards...?

So you did. What about the clutch and related parts. New/old? Where from?
