I am finishing up an old B&M Clutch Turbo unit. My question to any one is, what release bearing did they use? The sleeve is 1.62 OD.

Contact Vic Young or Kiwi Kev, here on the HAMB. Vic runs one in his Henry J.

  4. I had clutchflites years ago. I don't remember exactly what bearing was on it but start looking at 4 speed stuff. The length will be real important. The pump fingers need to engage around 3/4 of an inch so they don't disengage when you depress the pressure plate. Depending on what style of clutch you're running there will be a substantial difference in the length of the throwout bearing.

Thanks. I will check into the special lengths as I can see, thats gotta work. As soon as the Bellhousing is finished at the powder coating I'll work on the bearing.
