Snow is just cloud poop !

 

Driving in the snow is away of life here where I live- but we outfit or daily drivers with winter rims and tires on all four corners- many of us have our vehicles oiled or ‘rust proofed’ in one way or another on an annual basis to guard against the corrosive and destructive nature of the salt, sand, liquid brine solutions they cover the roads with all winter long. I spent too much time cutting out and replacing all the rust damage from my old cars first life to subject it to all that again and repeat the cycle.

 

Considering I couldn't even get my barn door type doors to open with a foot of snow in front of them, I found the idea of even shoveling out the snow to do so a waste of energy. I did shovel enough to allow me to get inside and check the car though.

Moved the Merc out the other day and plowed a bit in front of the shop after our first 9 inches of snow. Got 13 total, most snow in Arkansas in 146 years they said. LOL

 

Looks like an opportunity to clean the undercarriage! Lol.

 

....front cross member got a good wipe down at least. LOL
