Been looking at the smaller cnc cutting tables, (4' x 4' and smaller) Most of the advertised stuff requires so many options it's hard to compare, Baleigh has a swell sounding unit for around 9K, but by the time you add in the cutter etc.it's 14 or so. The Torchmate seems a little cheaper, but it's a little option intensive as well. Just wondering what you guys are using....Anyone got a used setup in New England? Thanks.

steel sheet come in 8,10,and 12'.so to get one on one of these tables first it has to be sheared or cut down some how.these tables usually aren't built really heavy.so to cut thicker material they'll need to be beefed up.i looked at doing this some years ago.this is what a guy that i know that owns a fab shop told me.dosen't make me want one any less.

Back when I thought I could justify a big investment for a larger machine we got a hundred foot crane because it was more fun...so now we have a fully equipped shop with no cnc. Most of what we make for work, and parts for cars, are relatively small items and floor space is at a premium so a smaller unit would suit us just fine...we have a shear, but I understand some of the smaller cnc units can actually be brought to the sheet for those who don't have one. Looking forward to some more advice, thanks.
