This started a couple months back when I was asked by Larry Stewart if I wanted to do some metal work on Dave Thomas 35 Chevy 3 window . Of course I said yes . This is Dave's car so I told them to bring it down to the shop . He's owned it for almost 40 years now . It's been all over the place in many different forms . When it came to me .the chassis was already done.it was but by Ionia hot rods and it's a work of art . The body had some stuff done to it but I ended up redoing a lot including getting rid of all the wood inner structure and making it out of steel , finished up chopping the top , filled the roof and the list goes on and on and on . So far it's all in bare metal and debuting it at York in a couple of weeks . Bare with me because I have a lot of photos to post .
So this is how it came to me .

This will be the third time that this car has went under the knife for the roof . The chop was starting else where I ended up bringing the front down about an inch and a half more then filled the roof using a 54 Chevy roof that I ended up taking a foot out of the center

Followed your wagon build, saw it at the LSR. That coupe is in great hands.

  22. Holy shit.......that's some quality metal work. 33-35 chevs are every bit as good looking as fords of the same years..
I had a 33, 3 window but it needed more body work than I was capable of..had to let it go to somebody who could do it justice...very nice work!
