I was hoping to make it down, so many friends were trying to get me to take my 36 GMC down, but the cost was just too much this year, hopefully next year I can save a few pesos and make the trip, it's not really far at least.

My neighbour goes down with his 14 McLaughlin Buick or his 1930 Chev racer most years.

BTW I still love how you dealt with your windshield when you chopped your IHC, it's brilliant!

Thanks, hoping to get at the doghouse and I need to figure out the door glass and "runner system". The vent windows are gone so just one piece there. First time at this so I need to do some research to work it out. The fuel peddle is the other concern, then I'm thinking it shoul be ready for the road. Had a few set backs this year so I to hope the funds hold out. Lots of fabbing to do, should be healthy enough to get started in January.

Added some more pics in my profile for those who are interested .....

Looks awsome Flow. Saw it at your shop after sandblasting. Would not know it's the same truck.

  6. Thanks guys.
Wish my real one was painted, I should get on that.

Blaaze, slow down or your post count might hit 20 before year end!:D

Here is one we restored that had set in a Loggers Mill Yard for over twenty years. It now gets up and down the road at the warp speed of 42 MPH.
