No need to be nasty :p just because I get mine before you get yours.
You advertise with them so you should see a copy before it is on the news stands.

Well he can stop now he has had a truck in there.

Oh, by the way, why have you not left for the salt ? Most have left here to go over and set up.

Sounds like you guys should tell ASR about the slow mail delivery. As mine would be posted the same time as yours. I could understand a few days difference but a week !

OK guys, I have a question...should I start a build (actually a finish it) thread for my 41 Ford COE? I am planning on finally getting around to completing it. I can post some of the old pictures too. Or is it too late to do a thread?

If you think I should post the thread...what the heck do I call it?

Somewhere along the line there was a "what's that?" question. Answer was - '37 International D series. I never got around to posting pics of the one I plan on changing into a car hauler. This is a D-300 with flatbed. Second pic shows suicide passenger door. It may get a 500" Cad, and may be front wheel drive. It is almost to complete to cut up.

    rfraze,

Wow ... .in fact double WOW ... your D300 is as nice as I've seen other than the very few restored ones sprinkled around the USA. I have a much rougher 40 model D300, and am in the midst of the build to make it a resto rod / tow rig. If you decide to ever part company with the truck ..... and I know that would not be likely .... keep me in mind. You are very right .... slicing that one up would not be a wise move, but adding the body to a later chassis without massive alterations would certainly make sense.

Send me a PM and we can share some photos and ideas.

    Love the truck!!!!

I think most folks here are looking for tech type ideas on how others solved build problems, and to see the cool old***** of course. Seems build threads are almost always welcomed, particularly if they are on-topic. Yours would be just on the heavy side of right on!
    Get to it!

Where will you put your bright light and blinker indicators? What color will the dash be painted?

IMO - black trim gauges on a black painted dash tend to disappear...I know this from my own COE. I now plan on adding an aluminum surround to make the gauges "pop".

Thanks for the kind words on the '37 International. I call it Jimini, because the shape of the cab makes me think of a cricket's head. Sitting in it takes you back to the day.
