Too good Bill ,luv the visor, looks like hq/hz,all it needs now is a sbc, lol.

  7. Thanks guys
Now if it only went as good as it looks !!!, at the moment the Oil Pan is removed from the 351, just as soon as I figure out what new oil pump I will use, I pulled the old FMX Trans today, the reco'd FMX is ready to go in but I will wait till I work out what I am doing with the Engine, if the engine needs to come out then it is easier without the Trans in place, oh yeah and I am also fitting a different Steering Column, one from a Land Cruiser, plenty to do and all day to do it in (grin)
The Visor is NOS F100 narrowed about 4", I do have a spare one if you are interested, the local Ford Dealer was throwing them out so my son the painter grabbed them.

its a 39--45 gmc front and the cab replaced with a case motorgrader one(my guess) , indicates its a 43-5 --all of those were the open cab/canvas top kind.

Hey Bill the truck is looking fantastic, the amount of work you have done to get it to where it is today is staggering,

    some news from us
We recently got a new donor truck for the 38 COE, a complete Chev CK3500 with aluminium tilt slide tray, hopefully we will get a start on it over the next month so I will post some pictures as we have progress

Looking good Bill. Having hassle with the Air Con in mine at present Have gassed it twice in the 4 years it has been on the road, finally looking to find the installer failed to crimp fittings as he should. About to Nitrogen test it for the 5th time.

Have not seen or heard of you for a long time. Good to hear. What happened to that Truck Cab you got from me all that time ago ?

Here's a short video of my 54' C.O.E transporter I have posted many times on here before but this is the new engine mounted in the rear under the bed. on the way to my shop for some repairs and a complete freshen up.

  17. Hi Mark
Very cool, won't be long and we should be able to show our COE's together
Much easier having the engine under the bed isn't it.

Just struck deal with a fellow Hamber for this great truck.
Its a 55 Chevy 5400 lcf, deluxe cab,big back window with a holmes wrecker on it. Quite the rare bird. Can't wait to get me grubby paws on it.

Yep I'll get a build thread going, first thing will be to get a running small block poked in the engine bay so its self propelled. Then sort the brakes out.
