COE COE Picture thread (imported from main board)

Discussion in 'Off Topic Hot Rods & Customs' started by Duration, Oct 30, 2007.

  1. Yes; talked to him a bit about this very thread & he followed me towards Austin (didn't have a GPS with him). I stopped by after picking up 4 round bales of hay (that's me on the very top row of cars; it's the only spot I could park & still have an opportunity to get back to the road once enough rides cleared out).

If you catch back up with this thread, "Howdy!, Jerry."

I always thought Jerry was from Belton, MO...guess I'm not too old to learn something new. He's a good guy. A while back, he hauled my new pickup fenders from Ohio to St Louis.

  3. About a month ago He listed his addy as Grain Valley on another site. That is all I know.
Oops, double checked the other site, Grain Valley might be his business address!

Wow. I might have to rethink my stepside box. That stake bed looks really good! Kind of a mini version of the way my 46 was when we used it on the farm. Any more details on this one? Frame, drivetrain, etc...?

  10. This taken from his write-up on Willysbill's website:
"In the next 14 months we fabricated mounts to put the cab on a 1970 half ton Chevy chassis that we shortened 33 1/2 inches giving it a 100 inch wheel base.
(This really was a terrible idea as it made the steering hook up a nightmare) We put 4 inch drop spindles on the front and a 250 CID straight 6 cylinder motor with a TH350 trans and an 87 Chevy truck differential make up the drive train"

  16. If a guy went to the round-up and didn't take pictures, I think he should have stayed home and worked on his truck, so he has something to show for his time. Just sayin'!!!!! LOL

Drug this beauty out today. 51 F5 with a flathead. Super clean og truck came out of Boise, last tagged in '85. Motor turns over so hopefully driving it this summer. She also has an early 50's international COE to get rid of if anybody out there likes them. Probably under a grand. Ill get some pictures tomorrow.
