  6. No where near as cute as an Autocar! Those IHs had a tiny cab, bet that is why it is for sale. Post WWII, my dad drove one and said if 2 people were going somewhere in one, they had better be very good friends.

so far so good with my paint color matched sprayin bedliner... although the color match could be a little better, it's acceptable...

Looks like the arctic there. 54 degrees here in Howell today. Hope your snow melts soon. Sold my chassis to a fellow builder in Chicago, no scrapping allowed here. Sold the spare fenders to a local collector//builder in Michigan .
Hope to see 2 more coe’s on the road soon..
    Regards, Mark

This will be getting a heart transplant this spring. The 350 is getting replaced with a new 502 HO GM crate motor. Should be much better for towing with 461 HP @5100 and 558 LB/FT @3400. :D Great picture of the COE.jpg

My wife and daughter have been down in Kalispell for 3 days Scott, GDP should have jumped a couple points. Nothin’ dramatic happening on the lumber wagon lately. Here is one from the files.

I just can't get over how solid these trucks can be when not in New England....

speaking of that.... We were detoured off I75 in Florida last week (as in ROAD CLOSED due to an accident. Some knucklehead with a load too tall hit an overpass)... But I digress... On some rural road in FL, I spot a 41-47 Ford COE wrecker!!!! Sadly we were not in a convenient place to turn around towing the boat so no pics, sorry guys...

Kudos on your interwebz searching skills... I can't even begin to think of how you found a pic of the original car...

  24. Add says the fenders have been widened, in reality they have been narrowed about 4" each.
several years back, there was a guy at Frog Follies selling several of these that had been set on Isuzu NPR chassis'. I like the wider fenders
    Here is an unaltered one.

Getting ready to replace the current 350 with a 502 HO crate motor. That'll give it a bit more towing power. 20210501_103214 crop.jpg

  29. I saw this one at Back to the Fifties a few weeks ago. If given the opportunity, I'd find room in the garage for it! IMG-6238.jpg
