Looking for contact info for the owner of this COE. Last known to reside in the PNW around Gig Harbor somewhere. PM me if you have any info.
    Thanks!

Maaan this thread has gotten Loooooooong.
Mine was a 1941 afkx 352 4x4 GMC 1 1/2-3ton that the army got 7 mos before pearl harbour. It was sitting next to a barn falling down in Zorn Tx halfway between San Marcos and Seguin until I drug it home.

    Reguarding the
chevy/GMC 39-46 those are 1581 model cabs -like the rollmans delivery truck below.
The 36-48 GMC only -"two windshield " cabs are 1506 model. (army truck)

Like the guy making fenders and grills for the 1581------Im making fenders, grill, cowl side panels, Dashes, Step rubber-upper steps/f glass, for 1506 model gmc only trucks.
    Truckeez at yay-who

I saw many cool ideas here.
Im gonna have some 19.5 alcoas milled to look like the stock triangle holed split rims.
A 12 ft pickup bed like the dodge page 25 and top of page has been planned all along with nice rustic wood planks on sides and rear runningboards made of lumber.
For costs and operating im gonna stick a benz turbodiesel fron a 4000lb sedan in with a nv4500. enough power for what im gonna do withit.

Mine is sitting on a p30 front crossmember now. Im gonna notch the crossmember to get the frame to drop in another 2.5" and then use a rack and pinion.

Im also gonna do a 3" chop and bump the cabback back 4" and will have a whole composite roof and backwall -to save a lot of stitch welding.

I will have the whole steel roof and cab back avalable for someone doing cab mods and must have steel.

Baron--- Try looking for KD truck cab lights on ebay or electroline. KD is the plainer type teardrop like what the builders used.

I like that last one alot! The flames aren't overdone, and the whole truck has a nice balanced but tough look to it.
