Did anybody know that Ford built the first C-Series Tilt Cab trucks in 1957? That body was built for 34 years, they stopped making them in 1990. So that fits into the H.A.M.B. and most any car clubs cut off dates.

I am wondering if you mounted the cab on a F350 frame? I am hunting for one of these cabs and taking a few measurement to see what is involved.

'tis a puzzlement. Was wondering about an E-350 chassis. Thinking the steering linkage geometry would be a little closer. Found a complete truck, lurking behind a barn.

Here's a pic of a Ford COE our family had in AK in the 80's......all stock flathead, my grandpa drove it up from AZ. You could not hear it when it was running.....one smooth runnin' flatty....
We used it year round to haul firewood and snowmobiles....

My dads 1941 Ford Cabover. 1941 Cab, 1973 Chevy 3/4T PU chassis. 350/th400/DougNashOD. The bed is aluminum with wood overlay to look like a stake rack. The increadable thing though is the sleeper is in the original paint!

Just got a Canadian built, late WW2, Pacific theater, C.O.E./ R.H.D. Chev. powered by a blue flame 6, here at work. It came in with an early WW2, Europe theater, sidevalve 6 Dodge truck. Interesting to note the differences between the two. The Chev. is much more simple, mass produced, flat pannel construction.

There are some great looking COE's on here, if I could find one I would build it. Here's one I posted on the ART SHOW. Original and my art.

Bill it is a Chevy, Year unknown.I looked closely at that and you can find chevy tags on it. Looked at the idea of taking it home. Too far gone.only a few small parts that can be saved. Nice peice of history in our woods all the same.

    hackerbill,
i think that is an english bedford truck that you sent the picture of. it could possibly be another english make , but i don't think that it is an american make.
