What have u guys done for the windshield gasket on the 47 Coe? Mine flips out and really want to keep that. Saw one on epay the other day and he wanted $550. It's gone so guess it sold.

  2. What you could do is to buy 2 37/39 Ford P***enger Windshield Rubber Seals, they have the same profile but of course are different in height etc, so you would have to do some cutting and gluing.

I am lucky, I bought mine about 9 years ago when Bob Drake was still making them and according to all the rumours, he will make them again one day, we just don't know when that day is.
But $550 is an awful lot of money for a Windshield Rubber !!!

    Hope that helps

I can confirm that the 1939 Ford car weatherstrip is the correct profile. I talked to Bob Drake himself to find out.

I just talked to Todd up at Northern Cl***ic Trucks and he is having the front windshield seals made. They should be available in2-3 weeks. I ordered one but didn't ask how much.
What did you use for the rear window seal?

Doesn't Bob Drake sell the real seal? Or is he "back-ordered"...?
