Hi, I installed a set of new tires 215/75 R15 , replaces the 7.10 white walls. The car is lowered 2" and has disc brakes. The new tires are rubbing the inside of the fender. Can I add a 1/2" spacer on top of the coil spring to have more space and avoid rubbing. Are there companies who sell the spacer or do I have to make it myself ? (1954 chevy 210 Handyman)
In most cases realize that the spring spacer, if installed under or on top of the spring will usually double the raise. So a 1/2" spacer will get you close to an inch. Just FYI.... ....
