Was watching a bunch of BarryT Garage vids on YT, featuring Steve Coppock. In a couple they were talking about the Ardun Heads and the their history. Steve mentioned a few old hot rod magazines as good sources, and Lo and behold, I just came across one of them on FB. Plan on picking it up next time I’m in Montreal. She says she had many more. The idea of a blown flathead is now intriguing me…lol!
I’m going to have to re-watch the vid to see what the other editions/magazines were. Parts 1 & 2 were in the above magazine, then he said it went under and Part 3 was in magazine that bought them. Can’t recall the name. Will keep a look out for them when I’m at Hershey.
Not much of a reader but love leafing through those old magazines...those heads are Hotrod porn and pricey whether repro or oem but it's many times not about money... Your ride will be over the top but that would definitely bring it to another level to your eyes ears and pedal response...oh and a few more pounds to carry...
I’m thinking a blower build for the second flathead. Haha! I said no more projects, but if I could find a “runner” in decent shape, and just “swap” in a blown flat-head, then just maybe…
What about those round superchargers...if thats what they're called. Auliz has run a number of those and the others too...
Speaking of superchargers, this showed up in my FB listings. The guy lives 15 mins away from me. lol!
