Collect them? No but I bought a bunch of them at the 5 and 10 cent stores and played with them untill there was nothing left of them.
I have a bunch of 50 year old toy cars, but I got them when they new. A**** others, I have the same red Indy style roadster as you although mine came with yellow wheels.
I recently acquired a red indy open fender car with yellow wheels at a swap meet. Was not sure if they were suppose to be yellow and possibly came off something else. Thanks for the info. Some more below.
Hey I have the same airplane you have but I found mine in the dirt at our farm all rusty. And believe it or not, that was a real airplane with two menasco engines. But just like mine, the vertical stabilizers are missing. Lippy

The only really old toy I have is my Dad's semi truck and trailer that he got for his third birthday, which was 1934. It's cast iron, with a few little places where you can tell it was played with - by my Dad and his brothers, and later by me and my brothers, and still later by my nephew. I just recently got it back after my now-grown nephew said he did not want it anymore. So, it sits on my fireplace mantle, unrestored, and exactly like it was when I was playing with it in the '60s.
Yes,I have that same problem. I have about 150 F&F cereal cars from the 50's-60's. I also have about 30 small plastic dime store cars, and an Ideal Cadilac Fix It car. My collection of all types of Cereal premiums is huge. I also collect 1/64th scale NASCAR machines of drivers from the 50's-60's-70's.(about 300). I am trying to sell some of my collection at the local antique mall, without much luck.
Did about a 10yr strech of collecting then just stopped making it a quest. Still have everything and I may buy something once in a blue moon that crosses my path.
my uncle collects the old tether cars...too expensive for me though. I used to collect old ignition (no glow plug) model airplane motors. Not many people collecting this stuff anymore. the guys who remember what they are, are dieing off.
I have a few. My grandson loves to play with the marx wind ups. My son commented the other day that i would have smacked him and his brother for just touching them. My reply was i still might. Gotta love the grand kids
Right after I got my first computer and found ebay I bought all the toys I could identify from the christmas pictures, then I found a 59 ford ranchero made by Korris Kars like I played with at grandmas house and had to have one in every color that was made. I also found out they made them in a 2 door hard top, wagon and convertible so I had to have them all too in every color and will post some pics later.
There are a few threads on here about collecting toy cars if you search. I don't collect any older than about 50 years.
My dad used to have a ton of cast iron toys, most of them farm toys and trucks. Some were from when he was a kid. He sold out of them all back in the eighties when they were real popular, and made enough to finance the majority of his 34 sedan resto rod that he had at the time.
I have a bunch of Marx and Wyandote pressed steel toys, and a few cast iron motorcyles and cars tossed in. over the last year or so I have also started collecting plastic HOT RODs. got to get my internet hooked up at home so I can post some pix
I really like the F&F Molding that were in Post cereal boxes back in the 50's. I enjoy 1/25 scale cars a**** other toy cars and trucks that I collect.
