I'v been at it since 16 year old. Got close to have n 1 finished - 51 F1 Panel truck, But then I let my other brain take over and started a Family and never really had enough money or time. to finish a project. So it just seemed easier to collect projects no more than $1,000.00 at a time.
Just kept tellin myself and friends Hell them there are for when I retire I'll have something to do. So Now I got 6+ projects. At 50 year old took a 32' fall ended up disabled. Now my thought is more time to finish but will need help of friends. I'm Thinking, got some good TRADE BAIT.

iv been pretty proud of myself. Iv been focusing on one car at a time. Its amazing what happens when you put all your time/money into one car. You end up driving them!

I used to suffer from this same sickness until about 12 years ago when my youngest son told me that the rest of my kids would be the only ones to enjoy my projects if I didn't stop and finish them up. He taught me how to sell on eBay, and get rid of parts which had risen greatly in value since I bought them, and that I would never live long enough to use.

I have built a flathead rod, a 1920's vintage sprint car, restored my old TR3 and am about to launch a T modified. This would never have happened if I had not established some priorities and sold what would have ended up in a yard sale after I'm gone. I even kept mom happy by using the proceeds to finish the projects, and not drawing much out of the bank.

I still collect some things, but only what I have a reasonable chance of using. It took me a long time to figure it all out, and selling the first parts was hard, but driving the results was well worth it. If I can do it, so can you. Think about it. It just takes will power. Its much more fun to drive your dream than just keep collecting more cars and parts for endless projects. Been there, done that!

    This describes me to a T. Or and A. Or a '32. Or a '40.

I've got so many parts for a million projects, I wouldn't have room to put a car if I ever finished one.
