I love that drive up 285, beautiful country. Maybe next year (didn't I say that last year?). I did actually get some frame rails tacked together...I might have a rough rolling chassis soon......(yeah right)

My son and I are heading out from Rapid City Thursday evening after I get home from work. The Hudson is packed and ready to roll. Probably just pull over and sleep somewhere Thursday night and then roll in for the reliability run Friday morning.

Cory and Ashely drove that burgundy/cranberry fendered 5 window from Detroit in two solid days of driving and I've been following a couple people driving from New Jersey and Texas. So damn cool

I'll be there tomorrow afternoon for Saturday spectating. This is my first "racing" event rather than static shows and I'm really excited.
I'm flying in so I don't have to shut the shop down too long.

What parts are you looking for? I can take a look in the garage and see if I might have it and bring it down. But a trip to Burt's is worth the time. Their new place is great.

You'll never want to do another "sit and stare" show again after attending HRHC. You'll start comparing every event to it and will be disappointed until you come back next year.

Would someone be willing to go up to the Cold Springs campground in Black Hawk and see if there's a spot available and get it for me for tonight and Fri night? I know they are first come first serve and we're not going to be there till late tonight. I know it's asking a lot but it sure would be appreciated and I will pay you if you have to prepay. Because of a busy work load, I think I can only find time Friday evening to get to Commerce City so I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you that I possibly can. PLUS my 36 is not really Hill Climb worthy, rolls in a bit later time period. I'm hoping that my Son can come with me as he is absolutely , positively, JONESIN for a roadster of his own. being that he is 24, I think that it is great that he's got the bug like his old Man. If you see my 36 don't be shy, say HI. Mitch.

 

Tech inspection crew is here ani I got am inspection and cookie. One of the inspectors mother bakes them every year.
