  8. This is the "DO NOT MISS" event of the year. I missed it last year because we had moved and threw the whole summer out of whack and then nearly missed this year because of some national guard training. I love the HRHC!!!!!!!

  9. Well we are back home safe and somewhat sound. The Hudson ran flawless for 898 miles. Left around 4:00 today pretty much as soon as all the uphill activity was finished. Have commitments at church on Sunday so needed to get back.

Our trip started Thursday evening and goes like this:
    • 2 days of some of the best hotrods in the country
    • 56 gallons of fuel
    • A car packed full of food and drinks enough to sustain us the whole trip(although we couldn't resist the BBQ in the alley behind the stage)
    • reliability run with awesome views and driving(stopped for lunch about 3/4 of the way up the "Oh my god road" and to let the Hudson cool down a bit)
    • One night sleeping in the Hudson and one in a tent
    • Putting faces to avatars and HAMB handles
    • 898 miles with my son beside me in the Hudson
This all adds up to a couple days of immeasurable fun.

Good to meet you and your son. See you sometime next week. This is an awesome event. Now for the Peak to Peak run today. Lots of folks already headed home but we are some of the lucky.
A few more photos to follow

This one is a recreation made from an old photo the owner found. If he didn't tell you you couldn't tell it wasn't the real deal. One of my favorites at the Hill Climb.
