For those of you that don't know, Colorado Springs is on fire. They are and have evacuated several areas. Lots of homes have been lost. To those evacuees wether it be mandatory or vonluntary, I have 8 acres that is east of the springs in Peyton CO. Plenty of spaces for Car trailers to be parked and cars to be stored temporarily.Couple of weeks if need be. NO CHARGE. I even have room for tents. If anyone needs ANYTHING please let me know. My shop number and cell phone are 719-358-6981.

Lets keep this at the top for anyone that needs help or might now someone who does. Again, let me know

  2. You're a hell of a guy. I was in Colorado Springs a few months ago for the first time, an absolutely beautiful area. Hope everyone is safe and again, thank you for looking out for others in need.

  3. Watching it on the news now. Terrible deal.

Seriously, it is on fire. It is so crazy. I have lived in Colorado all my life and have never seen anything like it.

We've already had one Hamber loose everything to the fire, stay safe folks. Hats off to Choptvan and SOCH427 for offering up the space to put the vehicles or trailers.

  15. Prayers go out for all those folks. Here are a couple more pics that my son sent me. Fortunately he lives East of the Springs and not up on the mountain. He said that the USAFA was evacuated.

Yea guys, it is getting really bad in CO. My parents luckily live in southern CO Springs, so they are safe so far. My brother however lives just a few miles from the Air Force Academy, and yall just saw how close the fire is to the Academy. So he is gettin a little worried.

To make matters worse, and this may just be lies and heresay from the locals, but my mom says that several of the fires have been purposefully set by some idiot with a grudge.

Props for those of you offering to help.

There is speculation. Not sure about the grudge part. The upper end of teller county was set ablaze in a few spots. Those are suspected for sure, They are not sure about this one due to the fact they can not get in to check out the location where it started. There are 9 or 10 fires burning in CO right now. So everyone is worried. If your brother needs anything, let me know. Give him my number. He can crash here if he needs to or pitch a tent. Whichever.

Not taking away at all. That fire is HUGE compared to this one. That one is over 85k acres. I was actually in loveland when that fire took off a few weeks ago. Pretty startling

That looks like a scene out of movie.

I stayed in CO springs for a couple months years back.
    Almost moved there, that stinks.
