Has anyone ever done there own colored window tint? Wanting to do a blue window tint on the truck I can order it for pretty cheap but the tint shop intown will not install it unless they supply it, I have watched a few youtube videos on how to do it it looks pretty simple, or is it a pain in the ***?
I removed the rear gl*** from my OT 60's muscle car before the tech tinted the window with 80% tint. He said it made it so much easier that instead of charging the usual $80 it was only $60.00. I reinstalled it with new molding and it was a lot cooler inside. I did my living room 8' wide sliding gl*** door by myself. Turned out great. Used a squirt bottle and squeegee.
x2 on taking the windows out first, it makes it look better when its done. i was a helping hand on tinting windows on an off topic older car, and though it took some time it wasnt hard and looked nice. make sure you get the good tint though, dont skimp, it will fade, ripple, and look like ****. it perminately looks like its raining in our daily truck because we went to some cheap *** window place. just get the good stuff and take your time and poast tons of pics for the next guy
