Commuting to the Powell/Delaware isn't bad from up in my area, but you MUST be ready for lots of hillbillies!!! I don't know if you have folks like us out there in SoCal . . . should be a hell of a culture shock for ya! *evil laugh* But I will say that everyone has pretty well covered all of the good car scene around here . . . if you're bored and there is nothing goin on there is always ****py car stuff goin on too. The type where you need a lawn chair to fit in, but hey sometimes it beats nuthin. Also . . . I don't know what else you are into, but there is a lot of good canoeing and tubing up this way. I'm planning on having a BIG Summer of tubin/drinkin. Got a 7mile stretch that ends at canoe access that is 100yds from my back door!!! Always a fun summer activity too!!! Oh and Welcome!
We just got our cars registered here in Ohio.... We had to go to a car dealer and pay them $3 bucks to verify our VIN#, then we went to the county tax guy and pay $18 bucks to them, then over to the DMV/AAA office and buy our Ohio plates $35 bucks and that was it. Beats the heck out of California and the $300 to $500 we had to pay each year for vehicle registration we paid on newer cars.
