Grew up in Kansas, my last rod was a '56 ford f100 pickup with a 428 in it in high school. Lots of fun, everyone had muscle cars (neighbors was a 440 mopar, etc). remember those saturday's working on friends cars for a couple of beers, then cruising and dragging them saturday nights.

Went into sports cars afterwards, and vintage raced until several years ago.

Now I have a strong urge to build what I wanted in high school - a '55 chevy, maybe with a blower on it. Very traditional as it might have run in the '60s. I don't have much talent or time with a wrench or anything, and need to learn more too, so this first one won't be on my talent, for sure.

Couple of boys who I want to expose to fun the rodding too.

thanks for tolerating me and my naive questions...
