Ah HA! I see Harry Olsen finally got the sectioned 49 ford to Salina. He was broke down on the hiway with ign problems yesterday. That lower pan is the front bumper off my old 53 Henry J....took Harry about 20-25 years to finally get this car on the road...congrats!
Wish I'd been able to attend.

 

Very cool looking 49' and I am not sure how I know the guys, but they were hazing the wife for not carrying greasy drums and Jen asked if I know them.......heck I have no clue.

Uhhh, Kerry from Kansas: That was a gasoline Ford vs dizzle fuel joke between me and Billy (Slowandlow63) that he, I, and several others that know each other from the late nights on the Kopper Kart build fully understood as harmless sarchasm. This forum is also not about a lot of other things that have been said here and in other threads, but those involved in the conversations know each other enough to get the humor, or know where they are coming from. Before you judge and make comments on someone, you should get to know what they are about. I mean come on, where were you on the gay humor that someone else posted against Luke from K.I. in this thread? Or the 1,000 other comments that are posted here every day. That being said, piss off.

 

Harry actually GAVE that car to a friend of his son Dan, I believe his name is Jeff. Great guy with a a young family including three sons. Harry and Dan helped him get the car road worthy from many years in storage. I have viedo of all of us blasting down the highway on our way to Salina on Friday morning.

 

Yep, great guys, indeed! I always enjoy hanging out with them....
