Are commercial companys allowed to post ads in the parts for sale section?

I've listed used parts on there without a problem, but I don't list the new stuff.

Better ask Ryan to be sure. I think there is a new rule that you can't use the cl***ifieds all the time and not contribute to the board on a regular basis, because the cl***ifieds are there to help members.

oh, and while you're at it you should talk to him about becoming an Alliance Vendor. it's great advertising and it's good for the HAMBers. a total win-win.

No - the parts section is for Fellow HAMB'rs to sell their mostly used / some ( minimal) new parts.
There are some exceptions of commercial vendors who post/contribute good Old Hot Rod and Custom car info on the main board quite a bit so it's ok for them to post some of their parts in the parts area.

If commercial vendors use the HAMB just to sell their parts only and nothing else which crowds out fellow core HAMB members, then the commercial vendors can stay on Ebay.

    I'm confident Ryan agrees.

of course we can all do our part and help the moderators out by reporting any questionable ads or wrong-doers. let the moderators decide what stays and what goes.
