Napa carries them, p/n 59x4. I can buy them all day long, how many do you need? PM me and I can probably send you some for shipping cost
They are the same as whats used on the stock Model 'A' up-drafts. Is there a Model 'A' supplier in germany?
Thanks for the replies. I don't like them "A" Suppliers ower here ...but will try. curtiswyant i'll send you a PM . Thanks Michael
Yeah, I have a 1938 Weatherhead catalog, and that number hasn't changed... I don't know if my present stash is Weatherhead or not; I've seen the things made two ways...one with the fitting and the compression ring made as separate parts, one with the two together but made as break-away so they separate during the tightening down. The fittings are Ford only, the rings are general hardware items. Repro restoration shop fuel lines are as good a source as any for the fittings. My recipe for carb hardlines: Get parts store 1/4" brakelines, brake line T fittings, and a bunch of Ford fittings. ***emble three hardlines into the T, bend to fit (often the rear carb line is a short straight piece), cut off lines to needed length at carbs and pump, slip on Ford fittings.
Hi, i couldn't find the number online.......at Napa. Thanks for all the replies!! Bruce this is what i want to do. Michael
Try Sacramento Vintage Ford--I think I got mine (set with fitting and loose compression ring) from them. NAPA online is very limited, especially with odd older stuff, even though they still have the parts. Also try searching Weatherhead fittings online--you may find a place that does orders online. If any problems, I can send you a few. You also likely need to order some finished 1/4" brakelines and 1/4" brake T fittings as raw materials, I think, and I believe I got those from Sacramento too, just bvecause online was easier than dealing with the local NAPA.
