I am looking to purchase a compression testing kit. I checked out Sears. They have a Craftsman kit that retails for $49.99. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions/ or recommendations on getting one of these. Thanks, Rich
Depends on what's in the kit... I found two on a quick search for $36 here http://www.bradytools.com/teuncostprtu.html and here http://store.yahoo.com/brandsplace/0192-aut-ctk.html?source=inksitematch The second one has a rubber "bumper" around the guage. Sounds a lot better than the duct tape bumper I now have around my cracked guage lens Unless there are some extra "goodies" in the Sears "kit",I'd say they are adding a way healthy profit margin.
DrJ Thanks for the tip. I was also thinking about looking at the dreaded WALMART. I figure that they ought to have something cheaper than $50.00 36.00 seems much more reasonable. Rich
