My big boy has issues. Pumps up to over 120psi but nothing out of the hose. Is it possible the hose is plugged? Its a short hose and not kinked.

I shut it off to pull the hose off. I need to try another hose. Never had a bad or plugged hose.

    it can happen.

Disconnect the hose, open the valve, should work, eh?

Also check the quick disconnect fitting, if it has one.

Air did come out but it did with the hose, just not with force. I will try a new hose but i have had issues in the past with the regulator, hence the question.

Sounds like your compressed air is lazy, Yes, you have lazy, non motivated air.

There doesn't appear to be a regulator on the compressor. There is a pressure switch, that turns the motor on and off, but you can watch the gauge to see when it starts and stops, and if the pressures are correct.

I have seen hoses fail like this. They delaminate on the inside, and a flap of rubber seals the inside of the hose with infuriating efficiency like a check valve.

Unscrew the fitting from the valve, fill the tank, open the fitting. Air? Then fitting (quick connects can fail) or the hose, or end with quick connect on the hose.

I get a lot of water condensation in the fittings and have to replace them every 6 months or so. They clog up the ports.
